Lenovo Group (00992.HK; LNVGY.PK) suffered 714 million US dollars of net losses in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2015. The Chinese PC giant attributed the first net losses in six years to 599 million US dollars of restructuring expenses and 324 million US dollars expenditures on cleaning up smart phone inventories.
In the quarter ending September 30, the company earned 12.2 billion US dollars of revenue, up 16 percent year on year. However, Lenovo Group decided to pay 86 million US dollars interim dividends, equal to 6.0 Hong Kong cents to shareholders registered by November 27, 2015.
