Japanese automaker Nissan saw its retail sales on the Chinese market rise 2.9 percent year on year in September, to 97,900 units, the auto news portal auto.gasgoo.com reported on Monday.
It is a rebound from continuous sales declines for a successive three months, and it is mainly attributed to the hot sale of Sylphy, X-Trail and new product Murano.
In the first nine months, the company sold 858,700 cars in China, up 1.8 percent year on year.
The company changed its statistical method for sales on the Chinese market from basing on wholesale figures to basing on retail figures at the beginning of 2015.
