China's electronics and IT manufacturing enterprises produced 1,611.97 million mobile phones in the first 11 months of 2015, up 2.9 percent year on year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Meanwhile, the electronics and IT industry produced 275.9 million channels of mobile telecom base stations, up 15.5 percent year on year; and 16.85 million lines of stored program control exchanges, down 11.8 percent year on year. The industry's telecom equipment business recorded a 13.9 percent year-on-year growth in sales value in the 11 months. The domestic sales value grew 19.5 percent year on year.
