Logistics industry in China showed a steady performance in the first ten months of this year, according to a report released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) on Monday.
The value of China's social logistics grew 5.7 percent year on year to 181.9 trillion yuan during January to October, 0.1 percentage point lower than the figure for the first nine months of this year and 2.6 percentage points lower compared with the same period of last year.
Data showed that logistics expenses totaled 8.3 trillion yuan in the first ten months of 2015, an increase of 4.0 percent year on year. The pace was down by 0.1 percentage points compared with that in the January-September period.
The gross revenue of the logistics industry rose 5 percent year on year to 6 trillion yuan from January to October, 0.1 percentage point lower than the figure for the first nine months of this year and 0.3 percentage point lower compared with the first six months of this year. Analysts estimated that logistics market will keep stable operation in the future.
