The Chinese nonferrous metals industry climate index jointly compiled by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA), China Economy Industry Climate Index Research Center, and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), stood at 20.81 in October, down 2.41 points from a month earlier.
The index has fallen for the seventh consecutive month and been in the "partial cold" range since April.
The index contains five grades, namely, overheating, partial hot, normal running, partial cold and super cooling.
