The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.20-21 yen compared with 111.19-29 yen in New York and 111.48-49 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1626-1626 dollars and 129.28-30 yen against 1.1622-1632 dollars and 129.30-40 yen in New York and 1.1597-1599 dollars and 129.29-33 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
