Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for March delivery added 1.04 dollars, or 1.35 percent, to settle at 77.82 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for March delivery went up 47 cents, or 0.57 percent, to settle at 82.87 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
