China Tuesday unveiled officially the first technology roadmap on key sectors for "Made in China 2025", a plan aiming to shift the country from low-end manufacturing to more value-added production.
The roadmap specifies development direction and target for ten sectors, including new generation information technology, upscale numerical-controlled machine tool and robot, aerospace equipment, oceanic engineering equipment and ships with high technology, advanced rail equipment, new energy vehicles, electrical equipment, agricultural equipment, new material as well as biological medicine and medical apparatus.
The ten sectors are further divided into 23 key directions in the roadmap.
