Specifically, Vietnam's goods retail sales stood at nearly 3,263.4 trillion Vietnamese dong (141.9 billion U.S. dollars), up 5.4 percent, with sales of food and foodstuffs growing 9.4 percent, home appliances growing 6.3 percent, and transport declining 1.1 percent.
In the 10-month period, restaurant and accommodation revenues totaled over 412.7 trillion Vietnamese dong (17.9 billion U.S. dollars), down 14.7 percent, and tourism revenues stood at approximately 15.4 trillion Vietnamese dong (667.6 million U.S. dollars), down 57.7 percent, according to the office.
In 2019, Vietnam's total goods retail sales and consumer service revenues rose 11.8 percent from the previous year to more than 4,940 trillion Vietnamese dong (214.8 billion U.S. dollars).
Specifically, its goods retail sales surged 12.7 percent to over 3,751 trillion Vietnamese dong (163.1 billion U.S. dollars).
