China's largest telecom operator China Mobile (CHL.NYSE; 00941.HK) has released the bid results of its integrated procurement for inter-provincial backbone network construction, the telecom news portal c114.net reported on Monday.
The construction project includes four bid sections, which are all based on the 80 x 100G optical transport network system. China's leading telecom equipment makers Huawei, ZTE (000063.SZ) and Fiberome (600498.SH) are bid winners.
It is the 11th-phase construction of China Mobile's inter-provincial backbone transmission network. The bid winners of the 10th-phase construction, which was established at the end of 2013, are Huawei, ZTE and Alcatel Shagnhai Bell.
