State Grid, one of China's two power grid operators, plans to carry out mixed ownership reform in four types of power grid projects including pumped-storage hydropower plants, power storage equipment, battery charging and exchanging facilities for electric vehicles, and connection of distributional energy sources to the power grid, the Economic Information Daily reported on Monday.
The company is also mulling over the opening-up of new power distribution networks to outside investors. In addition, State Grid will restructure its resources and seek to list its subsidiaries on stock exchanges.
