East China's Jiangxi province allocated 13.03 million yuan to subsidize the popularization of new energy vehicles (NEVs) recently. Meanwhile, the province newly allocated 30 million yuan to subsidize the construction of seven urban charging facilities, to further boost the NEV popularization and the work of energy saving and emission reduction.
The seven urban charging facilities are located in Nanchang, Jiujiang, Pingxiang, Ganzhou, Yichun, Shangrao and Fuzhou respectively. Four NEV companies in Jiangxi province obtained fund supports of 166 million yuan from the central government last month, while 18 NEV car models they produced were included in the catalogue of the fifth batch of NEVs exempted from purchase tax.
