China's five ministries and commission jointly issued the Opinion on Boosting the Use of Intellectual Property Rights and Protecting and Supporting Innovation and Business Start-ups, to further regulate the order of China's intellectual property (IP) industry.
The five authorities include the State Intellectual Property Office, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. According to the new policy, China will build an IP rights operation service system to provide high-end and professional services for innovative business start-ups, explore the way of issuing bonds and support start-ups to buy patent operation services, improve IP protection measures, and boost the construction of aid mechanism for property right protection.
A group of IP-concept listing companies will become beneficiaries of the new policy. They include ChineseAll Digital Publishing Group Co., Ltd. (300364.SZ), Zhejiang Hexin Industry Group Co., Ltd. (002343.SZ), Zhejiang Huace Film and TV Co., Ltd. (300133.SZ) and Huayi Brothers Media Corporation (300027.SZ).
