The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-109 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with levels a day earlier.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 109.40-41 yen compared with 109.45-46 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1627-1628 dollars and 127.20-24 yen against 1.1695-1696 dollars and 128.00-04 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
