TOKYO, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks opened mixed Thursday as buying on fresh closing highs on Wall Street overnight on revised U.S. GDP data and improved unemployment claims was offset by selling on renewed concerns for the outlook of a key international trade deal.

As of 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average edged up 15.30 points, or 0.07 percent, from Wednesday to 23,453.07.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, shed 0.67 point, or 0.04 percent, at 1,710.31.

Oil and coal product and insurance issues led notable advancers, while farm and fishery and land transportation-linked issues comprised those that declined the most in the opening minutes after the morning bell.
