NEW YORK, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for March delivery dropped by 1.97 dollars, or 2.53 percent, to settle at 75.85 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for March delivery decreased by 1.16 dollars, or 1.4 percent, to settle at 81.71 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
