China is likely to unveil an implementation plan on green manufacturing projects in the near future, aiming to forge a green manufacturing system which is highly efficient, clean, recyclable and sustainable.
Yang Tieshseng, deputy director with the energy saving and comprehensive utilization department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), disclosed on Thursday that the implementation plan would mainly promote four tasks, including green transformation of traditional manufacturing, cyclic utilization of resources, innovation and application demonstration of green manufacturing technology and establishment of green manufacturing system.
